Change Your Mind About God

Are you certain about your beliefs about reality? Could you be wrong? How do you know? Could you be wrong about everything you claim to know? If so, then how can you be certain about anything? How do you know your senses are valid? How do you know your reasoning is valid? Is reasoning a brute fact? Are your sences reliable? Could you be wrong about your reasoning? Could you be wrong about your senses? Do senses justify our senses? Does reasoning justify our reasoning? Are you certain? Could you be wrong about that? Can you know anything pertaining to senses and reasoning to any degree? Are you using the laws of logic right now? How can you account for such strange things as laws of logic? Could you be wrong about that? Are you certain? How do you know that? Are your senses and reasoning valid? Are you certain?

To have any kind of certainty one would have to (a) know everything or (b) have revelation from Someone who does. That’s the only way to stop an infinite regression.

God the ontic referent is a lighthouse through the dark fog and a solid rock beyond the quagmire, a justification for reason itself.

Change your mind about God… We have both been assuming atheism is false just by exercising our minds up to this point.

Change your mind about God… regain your mental facilities for good.

John 1: 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[a] it.

The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Colossians 2:2-4. My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments.
